How does membership work?
Memberships are renewed each Spring with the balance due before the club begins full-time operation for the Summer. There is only one level of Abbott Run Valley Club membership, entitling the individual or family to the full use of all facilities. Swim and Tennis Lessons are offered for an additional fee, and are not included in the cost of membership.

How do I become a member?
Our membership is currently full. If you would like to be added to our membership wait list, please fill out the membership application online here. Include accurate emails for sponsors as they will be emailed a form to complete upon receiving your application.

Mail to the PO box address  listed on the application or pay online the $160 waitlist deposit. You will be emailed with a confirmation once you are added to the wait-list. Email membership@abbottrun.org with any questions or concerns.

How long is the waitlist?
Currently, there is approximately a 2 year wait which could be more or less depending upon how many spaces open up each season. This process begins around March 1st as current members pay their dues.  We offer spots to new members on a rolling basis each spring as resignations are received.  To preserve the member/guest experience, the Club is limited to 275 memberships (255 Family and 20 Single).  You will be called once you reach the top of the list and a spot opens up for you. If you are called to join for the upcoming season you do have the option to wait one additional year and join the following season.

Can I visit the Club while it’s open?
Once you join the waitlist, you may come as a guest of the Club while we are open during the regular season (Memorial Day Weekend to Labor Day Weekend) to try out the Club.  You also may come as a guest of a member family if the member family extends an invitation.  The member family must be present during your visit.

How will I know when I am in?
You will be called once you reach the top of the list and a spot opens up for you.  This process typically occurs from February – April at the beginning of each season.

What are the 2025 member dues

Initiation Fee: $750 (First year members only).

Family Membership: $1,750

Single Membership: $1,050

What are the dues payment options?
Current Members: All membership dues are due by March 31, 2025. Please remit payment to PO Box 7011 Cumberland, RI 02864 or pay online
